Sinag Pilipinas defeated host Singapore, 82-56, on Friday to sweep the Southeast Asian Basketball Association (SEABA) Championship.
It was the closest result of the tournament for the Philippines, which defeated opponents by an average of more than 68 points over five games.
Naturalized center Marcus Douthit paced the Filipinos with 16 points, while Kiefer Ravena added 15.
With the win, the Philippines formally qualified for the FIBA Asia Championship in China in September. That competition serves as the qualifier the 2016 Olympic basketball tournament.
