Prime Minister Appreciates The Proactive Role By The Indian Diaspora In Suriname

New Delhi (PIB-GR-TYP-BIN): Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi met the Vice President of the Republic of Suriname Mr. Michael A. Adhin who is visiting India to attend the World Culture Festival.

Prime Minister appreciated the proactive role being played by the Indian diaspora in Suriname not only in the development of that country but also in strengthening historical ties between the two countries.

The Prime Minister said that India remained committed to continue to extend all possible support to the Republic of Suriname for capacity building and human resource development.
