Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan And Padma Shri

New Delhi (PIB-GR-TYP-BIN): The President of India, Mr. Pranab Mukherjee presented Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri awards at a Civil Investiture Ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan on March 28.

Among the dignitaries present on the occasion were the Vice President of India, Prime Minister, Union Ministers of Home Affairs, Urban Development, Housing& Urban Poverty Alleviation and Human Resource Development.

The President conferred the Padma Vishushan on Mr. Dhirubhai Hirachand Ambani (Posthumous), Mr. Avinash Kamalakar Dixit, Mr. Jagmohan, Dr. Yamini Krishnamuthi and Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.

The awardees who received Padma Bhushan from the President are Mr. Hafeez Sorabe Contractor, Dr. Barjinder Singh Hamdard, Mr. Anupam Pushkarnath Kher, Mr. Pallonji Shapoorji Mistry, Ms. Saina Nehwal, Mr. Vinod Rai, Dr. Alla Ventaka Rama Rao and Dr. Duvvur Nageshwar Reddy.

The forty-three Padma Mr. awardees who received the honour include Dr. Mylswamy Annadurai, Mr. Madhur R. Bhandarkar, Mr. Ajay Devgn, Ms. Deepika Kumari and Mohammed Imtiaz Qureshi.
