Autumn Leaves
Autumn is in full swing as the birch leaves turn yellow and scarlet while snow adorns the high peaks. The chupacabras have begun their annual migration to the lower elevations and resumed their assaults on the domestic pet populations, being particularly fond of peekapoos in a subtle mornaise sauce. In the town of Niwot, CO a trio of coyotes attacked an early morning foot commuter. He was fortunate to escape with minor scratches after fighting them off with his laptop case. Twas but a few years back a young woman in eastern Canada was killed and consumed by coyote. The re-establishment of pernicious carnivores into what had been our rapidly civilized world can only be rightly blamed on the left leaning animal lovers that are currently steering our country and, indeed our world over the rainbow colored cliff they percieve with their glazed donut eyes. If we continue to allow these soft and fuzzy animal lovers to reintroduce these viscous beasts into suburbia we can all look forward to a future as carmine as the red, ragged edge birch leaves of autumn.
