National Commission For Scheduled Caste Submits Three Reports To President Of India

The President, Mr. Pranab Mukherjee receiving the annual report for the period 2015-2016 by the Dr. P.L. Punia, Chairman along-with the Vice Chairman, Members and other officers of the National Commission for Schedule Castes, at Rashtrapati Bhavan, in New Delhi on August 16, 2016.

NCSC 2015-16 & SCSP-2016

New Delhi (PIB-GR-TYP-BIN): The National Commission for Scheduled Caste headed by Mr. P.L. Punia, Chairman, Mr. Rajkumar Verka, Vice-Chairman and Mr. Raju Parmar, Mr. Ishwar Singh, Mrs. P.M. Kamalamma, Members have submitted three reports on August 16, to the President of India Mr. Pranab Mukherjee.

The reports are: Annual Report of NCSC 2015-16. Report on the Effective Utilization of Funds under the Scheduled Caste Sub Plan (SCSP)-2016. Report on Atrocities against Kuravan community in Tamil Nadu-2016. The report contain various recommendations on the issues entrusted to the commission regarding protection of Constitutional Safeguards of the Scheduled Castes as enshrined in Constitution of India on effective utilization and formation of schemes under Scheduled Casts Sub Plan (SCSP) and steps to end atrocities on the Kuravan Community in Tamil Nadu.
