Kiren Rijiju Interacts With J&K Children
Study Tours Help Students To Understand Diversity And Beauty Of India
New Delhi (PIB-GR-TYP-BIN): The Minister of State for Home Affairs Mr. Kiren Rijiju met the children from Jammu and Kashmir on January 6. The group of various school students comprising 43 students of class 7 to 10, including three teachers flagged off from Jammu on 3rd January, 2016. The tour of students is being organized by the CRPF.
While interacting with the children, Mr. Kiren Rijiju said that he is happy to meet the children and teachers of Jammu and Kashmir. He also said that the children will be benefitted out of this tour and it will help them to understand the diversity and beauty of India. The Minister said that the study tour will improve their knowledge and general awareness about historical places, social values, culture & traditions.
Mr. Kiren Rijiju said that the children should share their experience with their friends and families when they go back home. In his message to the children, the MoS said that they should focus on education which will help them in bringing success and happiness to their lives in future.
The students have visited Red Fort, Akshar Dham Temple and Parliament House in Delhi.
