Lawyers Are Lowest of Low
A new poll out reveals the amount of respect people have for various vocations, and, no surprise, attorneys are right at the bottom. The public still considers members of the military and teachers to be those who contribute the most to society but finds that lawyers are just a big drain, a vast sucking wound in the social body.
The publics perception of journalists also fell, those stalwarts of freedom and democracy without whom we would all be ignorant and unwashed. So who is to say that the public just might have it all wrong, The Yellow Press will. We stand for all the under appreciated and downtrodden and are willing to give a lawyer and the courts a fair shake.
Be it civil or criminal, who are you gonna have represent you in court? The guy with long stringy grey hair in tattered blue overalls that sells locally grown fruit at the corner or a qualified suit wearing member of the bar? Attorneys can be trusted to lead us through the tangled legal swamps that our mysterious jurisprudence stucture has become. Respect an attorney today, better yet, hang out near a courtroom and just give one a big random hug.
