Sacramento’s Downtown Plaza going down for new Arena

The Downtown Plaza in Sacramento is scheduled to be demolished on Friday Aug 1, 2014 to make room for the new Arena for the Sacramento Kings and bigger Events for the area of Downtown Sacramento. After the economy crash the Plaza had started to fall. The Plaza once housed the Hard Rock Café of Sacramento before the economy crash. You could walk through the mall and in a tunnel under the I-5 interstate to Historic Old Sacramento and enjoy other shops and learn the History of Sacramento, CA. Well I can say I am sad to see it go but happy to see they are finally doing something to improve the area of Downtown Sacramento.
