A large consignment of drugs has been caught in Navi Mumbai. It is said that the price of this 191 kg heroin in the international market is one thousand crores. Officials said that the consignment of heroin caught at the Navi Seva Port in Navi Mumbai reached the Port of Mumbai via Afghanistan via Pakistan. The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) and the Customs Department have seized these consignments in a joint operation. So far 2 people have been arrested in this connection.

* Touted drugs as Ayurvedic medicine *

According to media reports, the smugglers kept the drugs hidden in plastic pipes. This pipe was painted in such a way that these pieces of bamboo were visible. Smugglers called it Ayurvedic medicine. In this case two agents of the Custom House who manufacture documents for import of drugs have been arrested. Apart from this, there is also talk of arrest of some more people in this case. According to the English newspaper Times of India, a Delhi financier has also been arrested. Preparations are on to bring it to Mumbai.

The revenue department said that 2 people arrested in this connection were produced in a court in Mumbai, from where they have been sent in a judicial heir of 14 days. All these drugs were hidden in many containers. The owner of the container is also being questioned.
