Awarness pleadged by nhu

As part of the Vigilance Awareness Week being observed by the Central Vigilance Commission on the theme Satark Bharat, Samriddh Bharat (Vigilant India, Prosperous India) from  October 27 to November 2, the North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong took the Integrity Pledge circulated by the Commission on  October 29 in front of the Administrative Block, permanent campus.

A press release by NEHU PRO G. Umdor, stated that, leading the pledge-taking, Prof. S.K. Srivastava, Vice-Chancellor, NEHU, underlined the importance of the proverb ‘honesty is the best policy’. “We should rededicate ourselves to the service of NEHU, to the region and the country with the most integrity, transparency, honesty and accountability,” Prof. Srivastava said adding that there should be zero tolerance to corruption.
