Kerala Bags United Nations Award

Kerala tourism has bagged the United nations award for creating innovative initiatives in sustainable tourism.The award was part of the annual United nations WTO awards for excellence in Tourism which was presented at madrid spain on january 22.The award given for the first time to india  in recognition of the path breaking responsible tourism in kumarakom, a model for empowerment and development of the people in the area while sustaining eco friendly tourism–k.mohan
